I thought it'd be cool to have like a blog directory of sorts, an interactive one, where we can hop on over to each other's blogs easily. I forget who all has blogs in Women in Networking. I visit a few times and forget to go back. Time for a change.

I love links too. The more relevant links to this website, the stronger it will be, which means it will have more power to give to your blogs. So link to this blog from places like your Ryze page, squidoo lens, social bookmarking sites, etc. Bookmark this site. Just not from your blog. Now if you want to link to my business blog, I won't complain.

What makes a good link? One that has your keywords in it. Example: In my post Does your marketing message connect? I linked to a friend's place under the words “marketing and copyrighting specialist.” It makes her blog just a teeny bit more of an authority for “marketing and copyrighting”.

Go blog hopping! Visit each others blogs, find something you can relate to, add a comment, let's get some converstions going in these blogs.

I'd also like to have some categories, so we have beauty blogs in one group, travel, food, etc. each in their own group. I need some help with this. If you'd like your blog in a category, write up a short description of your blog and what catergory you'd like it under. Mine is under communications. If you don't see your category, just make one up. I'll turn it into a blog post, under your category.
f I get swapped with requests in one day, I'll continue to add to the blog a little each day, in the order received until I'm caught up. I started to add several useful bits of information about blogs all at once. I see it as a WIN WIN project.
I first thought a blog was like an online diary, and why would I want my journal public. But I've learned a bit since then, still learning. I wanted to share that knowledge and invite you to share yours, just post to the existing posts. I think we learn best by doing. So I'm going to post the information a step at at time, so we can learn one thing, do it, then learn something else.
